Chandeliers & Mini-Chandeliers
Chandeliers are the most versatile ceiling light fixtures. They provide excellent illumination and can be as elegant or as simple as you need. Chandeliers vary greatly in both size and theme. From three-light mini chandeliers to three-tier, multi-light pieces, chandeliers are arguably the perfect ceiling light. Mini-chandeliers add style and flare to a room without the needing as high of a ceiling or as large of a room to fill. For instance, these are increasingly popular for young girls bedrooms. Regardless of the style or size choosing the right chandelier is a great start in determining the rest of the lighting plan for your home
As far as themes, at Hansen Lighting you can choose from contemporary, antique, wrought iron, brushed aluminum, oiled bronze, crystal, and more. Chandeliers are the central point of lighting design in the home. Whether you are looking for modern, traditional or classical; choosing the right primary fixture can make all the difference in turning your room ordinary to truly memorable.
Pendants & Mini-Pendants
Big or small, colorful or basic, you'll find a huge variety of pendant light fixtures at Hansen Lighting. Hansen Lighting carries the most popular designer brands including Kichler, Quoizel, and Tech Lighting ceiling light pendants. Choose modern pendant lighting to add sleek glamour to bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens or a timeless Tiffany style fixture for a study or den. Most of these designs are wired directly to a junction box in the ceiling, though there is also a wide selection of swag lights which plug-in to any standard wall outlet.
Recessed Lighting
Recessed or can lighting affords a clean, streamlined look for your lighting by hiding all of the wiring and internals of the light in a recessed housing. These ceiling light fixtures can be used in combination with other lights fixtures to add needed light to a room when one fixture isn't adequate.
Recessed lighting is available in two ways: new construction housing, or remodel housings. New construction housings sit between joists and are typically installed during construction. Remodel housings fit into holes cut in a finished ceiling. If your ceiling has insulation, use an IC-Rated housing to give 3 inches of clearance and prevent fire hazards. Non-IC housings can be used if you do not have insulation, or if you have a sufficiently large gap separating your housing and insulation.

Flush and Semi-Flush Mount Fixtures
Commonly, the most popular central lighting source for any primary room. The higher the ceiling, the more popular a semi-flush mount becomes as they can provide extra visual elements that help to establish a more prominent style. These are perhaps two of the most common ceiling light fixtures as there is a broad range of applications for them.
